Meet Rose Canas, CPA
Our firm is led by Rose J. Canas, a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the accounting profession. Rose began her career in public accounting in 2004, developing a strong technical foundation before moving into corporate accounting roles where she spent a decade serving a general contractor. In that role she oversaw financial operations, managed complex job costing, monitored cash flow, and provided the kind of financial leadership that keeps large construction projects on track.
From there, Rose expanded her expertise into the technology industry, spending several years in senior accounting and finance roles at software companies before launching RJC Tax & Accounting Services in September 2024, bringing all of that experience directly to the small business owners and individuals of the Texas Hill Country.
Rose holds dual CPA licenses in California (active since 2010) and Texas (active since 2024). She combines corporate-level financial knowledge with a warm, approachable style that makes even the most complicated tax and accounting topics feel manageable. Her clients often say the same thing: they finally feel like someone actually understands their business.
